 We invite you to a webinar on our new formulation: High-Moisturizing O/W Cream Formulation with PEG, PPG-free, and contains 2500ppm. This formulation allows for stable use of ceramide in O/W formulations through CERAPLEX MIX AQUA.

 This formulation is high-moisturizing cream formulation containing 2500ppm of ceramide. In general, most of O/W formulations with ceramide contains PEG and PPG to maintain stability. However, this formulation uses CERAPLEX MIX AQUA to achieve stability without PEG, PPG.

 CERAPLEX MIX AQUA contains Hectorite, which wraps around the emulsion droplets and allows for a more stable formulation. Additionally, CERAPLEX MIX AQUA can help strengthen damaged skin barriers as it contains ceramide, fatty acid, and phytosterol, which are similar to the components of the skin barrier.

 SUNJIN BEAUTY SCIENCE donated $10,000 in Relief Fund for Turkiye on 10^th Mar.

 The donation will be delivered through The Foundation of Anatolian People and Peace Platform(AHBAP) which is a local relief organization and will be used for the restoration and the relief goods support.

 SUNJIN feels this disaster even more special as we have had close relationships with the customers in Turkiye for over 10 years. We hope that this donation can help the victims of the unprecedented earthquake.

 SUNJIN delivered the donation in Daegu City Medical Association even in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and is practicing ESG(Environmental · Social · Governance) management through various social contribution activities such as steady ocean cleaning activities.

How to make Talc-free Pressed Powder Foundation and Eyeshadow

In this issue, we will introduce Talc-free pressed powder foundation and eyeshadow formulation developed by OKTRADE, the Turkish distributor of Sunjin Beauty Science, using SUNPRESS-TR as a substitute for talc.

SUNPRESS-TR provides a soft feel. This can be confirmed by measuring the friction coefficient using a rheometer, which shows that SUNPRESS-TR has the lowest value.

The first formulation developed utilizing this feature is a pressed powder foundation. This formulation contains 54.9% of SUNPRESS-TR, therefore it provides a soft texture.

Not only that, SUNPRESS-TR has great pressability. When we conducted drop testing using 100% of each material, SUNPRESS-TR endured the drop the most times after EPU-2X.

The second formulation is an eyeshadow. This formulation contains 43.5% of SUNPRESS-TR, which makes it soft and not easily broken.

3 Essential ingredients for Silicone-Free Makeup Formulas

In this newsletter, 3 essential ingredients for silicone-free makeup formulas will be introduced.

The first ingredient is TINA Series, the natural pigments. Usually, iron oxide products are used to color the makeup product.  To create stable and durable clean beauty concept formulas, strong and natural pigments  are essential.

The next one is MLB Series, a silicone-free emulsifier. The MLB series has a strong emulsifying capacity by coating the surface of hectorite with an emulsifier.

Finally, the last ingredient is silicone-free elastomer gel named SFGEL Series. SFGEL replaces the feeling of the use of silicone gel, and it can express the unique soft feeling of silicone gel.

Join Our Webinar To Explore Transparent Zinc-Only Sun Fluid SPF50 PA4+ Formulation!

 We invite you to a webinar on our new formulation: Zinc-Only Sun Fluid with high sun protection(SPF50, PA4+) and transparency.

 In general, formulations with physical UV filters have the disadvantage of white cast. While other physical sunscreens may cause a white cast on the skin, this formulation has high transparency as it contains only zinc oxide.

 We have combined two types of zinc oxide dispersions in our formulation for enhanced UV protection. SUNCLEAR-Z50(K) contains relatively smaller particles of zinc oxide, while Z65M contains larger.
 By using these two different sizes of zinc oxide dispersions together, the formulation can be spread on the skin evenly.
This innovative approach makes our formulation can provide more effective UV protection with minimizing white cast.

 SUNJIN achieved NATRUE which is a certification of natural organic cosmetics in Europe!
We will introduce some NATRUE certified materials at In-Cosmetics Global.

NATRUE is a certification of natural organic cosmetics in Europe.
NATRUE is known as the most demanding certification for qualification verification, as it includes the contents of international regulations such as ISO 9235 and European cosmetics regulations related to cosmetics, raw materials, fragrances and surfactants.

 According to the NATRUE standard, all raw materials used in NATRUE certified cosmetics must be approved by NATRUE from June 30, 2024.
Therefore, it is important to review in advance whether the raw materials used in cosmetics are NATRUE-certified raw materials.

 SUNJIN has obtained NATRUE approval for a total of 10 products including silica products and more products will be approved in the future.
