Global cosmetic brands are increasingly raising the bar for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance across their supply chains. Certifications from global ESG rating agencies such as EcoVadis are now frequently required, and ESG scores are becoming a key criterion in supplier selection. This is because the ESG capabilities of raw material suppliers have a direct impact on the brand competitiveness and sustainability goals of their clients.
Sunjin Beauty Science has recently achieved a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, ranking in the top 15% globally, proving its position as a trusted raw material partner that meets the demanding ESG requirements of global customers.
We scored highly across all four evaluation pillars — Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement — demonstrating full alignment with global ESG supply chain management standards.
In the environmental category, we hold ISO 14001 certification and are actively working toward clear environmental goals such as reducing energy consumption and expanding renewable energy use through solar power systems.
We are also strengthening low-carbon and eco-friendly business practices through improved waste recycling rates and reduction of pollutants.
In terms of sustainable sourcing, we use only 100% RSPO-certified ingredients and manage our ESG supply chain in accordance with global standards such as REACH and RMI.
To strengthen supply chain transparency, we have made ESG evaluations mandatory for all suppliers, enhancing the overall ESG credibility of our network.
In the Labor & Human Rights domain, we operate policies fully aligned with the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO). We support our employees through family-friendly welfare programs, employee satisfaction surveys, and grievance resolution systems to protect their rights and well-being.
Unique welfare initiatives such as our in-house screen golf facility and company vehicle purchase support further reflect Sunjin Beauty’s commitment to employee satisfaction.
