Hectogel is an oil-phase thickening gel created by processing Hectorite with oil through a high-shear dispersion process.

Through this high-shear process, the OH groups at the edges of Hectorite particles form hydrogen bonds with each other, creating a stable house-of-cards structure. This structure enables a thin, uniform, and highly stable thickening mechanism, delivering consistent performance with ease of use.
