We would like to introduce MLB-Polar, a new 2D pickering emulsifier that shows great emulsifying capacity for polar oils .

MLB is a silicone-free, PEG-free and PPG-free ingredient for Clean Beauty. It uses 2 dimensional Hectorite technology to enhance emulsion stability of W/O formulations. And now, we have MLB-Polar which maximizes emulsifying capacity for formulations with polar oils.

The MLB series provides great emulsion stability because it is a type of Pickering Emulsifier. The Hectorite and emulsifier of MLB are located at the interface of the emulsion. MLB forms a type of network around the water droplets to stabilize the emulsion. 

MLB-Polar has strong emulsifying capacity for formulations that contain polar oils such as ester oils, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate and chemical UV filters.

A formulation with 4% of MLB-Polar has better stability when compared to one with 4% of another emulsifier and 2% of a thickener.
